On compliance we will be straight with you. Oxford falls within Oxford City Council’s area. The council does not currently apply a blanket Article 4 direction on short lets, but letting an entire home on a short-term basis can still amount to a material change of use that needs planning permission depending on frequency and scale. England’s proposed C5 use class and national registration scheme for short lets are not yet in force as of 2026. We check your address against the current Oxford City position before we furnish a single room, and we keep the gas, electrical and fire-safety paperwork in order so the let stands up to scrutiny.
